Sept. 20, 2025 Tech Trek Girls
AAUW-WCC sent 5 junior high girls to a one-week Tech Trek Camp at Sonoma State University. The campers will share some of their STEM experiences there.
Oct. 18, 2025 “Women of the World”
Dr. Michael J. Barrington will give a photo presentation of his projects for women in Ethiopia, The Gambia, Guatemala and Honduras. In addition to having traveled to over 50 countries doing humanitarian work, he is author of 10 books and over 50 short stories.
Nov. 15, 2025 Tess Taylor: Poet, Playwright, Translator
2024-2025 Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow and former Poet Laureate of El Cerrito. Her new play, “Last West: Roadsongs for Dorothea Lange”, her translation of Ovid’s exile letters to his wife, her poems, and her community and school outreach as Poet Laureate of El Cerrito provide a range of topics for presentation.
