Programs for 2021-2022

September 18, 2021: by Zoom:  Moving Forward, the Branch Direction.  We will discuss the questionnaire being prepared   by the membership committee and sent to all members.

October 16, 2021: by Zoom or in person:  Speaker from Ashby Village, a community of seniors aging independently in   their own homes with the resources needed to stay active, independent, and fulfilled.

November 20, 2021: by Zoom or in person:  Two members from Sisters In Crime will discuss their current offerings.  SIC is a group that promotes the ongoing advancement, recognition, and professional development of women crime writers.

December 18,2021:  (Hopefully) we will have our annual holiday get-together.

January 15, February 19, & March 19 2022:  The meetings in part will be dedicated to planning for the 2022 Tech Trek Camp at Sonoma State University.

Lessons from Teaching Online
Dr. Juliette Levy, UC Riverside Associate Professor of History, will discuss how to make online instruction more accessible.  For about 10 years she has been developing effective online courses.  She is building a digital archive of Mexican civil contracts, records and wills as the basis for a large-scale project in financial intermediation during the Mexican revolution.  In 2020 she was named to UC Riverside‚Äôs Academy of Distinguished Teaching.  She specializes in Latin American economics and business history, digital history and digital pedagogy.

May 21, 2022:  The goal is to host our Annual Luncheon in person.
